The Treasure Exhibit is still in Rockford, but for a limited time only. Why not take the family this weekend before they roll out of town?

I would recommend the Treasure Exhibit for older kids, but that doesn’t mean your little one won’t have fun. You start off with a “passport” and your object is to use the clues to find the exhibit with the stamps to stamp your passport. If you find all the exhibits (I think there are 6) you get a piece of treasure from the treasure chest!

Some of my toddler’s favorite parts of the exhibit were:
Sink a Pirate Ship – an interactive game where you aim to shoot a computerized pirate ship with a cannon.

The Art Corner – Make a treasure chest, color a pirate ship, and glue on some shapes!

ROV - Operate a Remotely Controlled Vehicle.

Puppet Show – Tell a funny story with a puppet show.

Treasure Hunt – Look for treasure with a real metal detector!

And in the end, collect your prize!

Overall, we had a great time exploring and searching for treasure at the Treasure Exhibit! Treasure! can be uncovered in the Woodward Exhibit Hall. Admission: $2 for Members; $4 for Public + general Museum admission of $8/person. Parking is free.
My readers can still get FREE admission to Discovery Center Museum with one paid general admissionfollow! Stop by today!
